Limit

AI acts.
Within your limits.

Limit is where you say what an AI agent, or a firm that works for you, may do in your name: how much, where and until when. Inside your limits it gets on with it. Anything outside them comes to your phone first, and nothing happens until you say yes.

Why it asks
Outside your limits
An example: your limits say up to $100 at amazon.com or ebay.com. A better deal elsewhere is outside them, so your agent asks.

Help that cannot outrun you

Agents, and the firms that work for you, are useful because they act without you. Limit keeps that, and keeps you the one who decides.

You set the line once

In plain words: up to $100, at these stores, until Sunday. Your agent reads the same limits you do.

Inside it, no interruptions

Whatever falls inside your limits goes ahead without a question, so nobody asks you to approve every coffee.

Outside it, you decide

Anything else reaches your phone, your Telegram or your email, saying who asks and what for. Nothing happens until you answer.

Your yes is yours

Only you can answer, with the passkey on your phone. A stolen password is not enough to answer in your name.

Yes once, or from now on

Approve one purchase, or let your answer become a new limit so the same thing is not asked again.

A record you keep

Every limit you set and every answer you give is signed and kept, so you and the firm can both show what was agreed.

Where it helps

Two kinds of help, one way to stay in charge.

An AI assistant that shops for you

It may buy sunglasses for up to $100 at the stores you named, until the end of the week. It finds a better deal at another store? It asks you first, and buys only on your yes.

A firm that files for you

Your accountant asks before submitting your tax return, with a summary of what is being filed. You approve it from your phone in a minute, and both of you keep the answer.

For organizations and agent builders

When you act for people, ask them before anything they did not allow, and keep their answer.

  • Ask before you act

Your software checks whether an action is within what your client allowed, and asks them when it is not. The answer comes back to you signed.

  • Proof both sides hold

What the person allowed and what they answered is a record you can verify, not a screenshot of a chat.

  • In the stack you already have

An API, an SDK for JavaScript, Python and PHP, and a connector for AI assistants.

  • Available on request

Create a Tunnel account and ask for Limit from your dashboard. A person answers and sets it up with you.

Ask for access

Create a Tunnel account and ask for Limit from your dashboard; a person answers. Or leave your address for news.

One address, used for this and nothing else. Leave the list from any email we send.

Stated limits

What Limit does not do

  • Limit keeps your limits and asks you. Following them is the job of the agent or the firm you connected: Limit cannot reach into software it does not run.

  • It never holds your money or your card, and it pays for nothing.

  • An agent or a firm reaches you only after you connect it, and you can pause, change or end that at any time.

  • There is no price for organizations yet: access is on request.

Questions people ask about this

Is it free?

For people, yes: setting your limits, answering, and keeping your record cost nothing. Organizations and agent builders get access on request.

What do I need?

A phone or a computer that makes passkeys, which most do in a tap. Limit runs in the browser, and you can add it to your home screen.

How do I connect my AI assistant?

From the Limit app. An assistant that takes connectors gets one address, and you approve the connection with your passkey. A firm sends you an invitation instead.

What if I miss a question?

It reaches your phone and your Telegram at once, comes by email if neither reached you, and comes once more halfway through its time. A question nobody answers expires, and nothing happens.

Can someone else answer for me?

Not without your passkey. A new passkey needs one you already have; if you lose them all, a new one waits 72 hours and you are told on every channel, so whoever took your inbox cannot answer in your name.

Can I change my mind?

Yes. Pause everything at once, take back what you allowed, or end a connection for good, from the same app.
